Kidney Stone Healing
12/4/2010

March 25, 2010 I woke up in the morning urinating blood. I went to the urologist and they did an emergency CT scan on me. I was diagnosed with three kidney stones; one kidney stone was 13mm or 1.3 cm, another was 7mm, the final one was 6mm. The typical size for a passible kidney stone is smaller than 5mm. They wanted to do emergency surgery on the kidney stones; however, I had gone into the urologist on crutches from breaking my femur three months prior in late December. They told me as long as the pain levels stayed low and I was only urinating blood to wait until I was walking before coming back to do surgery on the kidney stones. I stopped urinating blood a week after going to the doctor and the stones caused me no pain during the summer. After I found out that I was accepted into Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, BSSM, I knew that when I came home for Thanksgiving I was going to have to have surgery on the stones.

My first day at Bethel, my parents and I went to the Sunday evening church service. Bill and his pastoral team were calling out words of knowledge about people who were getting healed. Bill called out, “Someone here has kidney stones.” I knew that I had them but I was embarrassed to stand up because that is something that old people get. I knew that someone else in the crowd of over 800 besides me would have kidney stones. After about 10 seconds with no one standing up, I stood up. Bill said, “Ah, there you are,” and he had the people around me join in on praying for my healing.

This Thanksgiving I flew home knowing that I was having surgery. After I landed in Wyoming I went straight to my pre-operation appointment. First, I had to get another CT scan done so the doctors would know exactly where the kidney stones. When the doctor came into the room that I was waiting in he also brought in his secretary, I knew something was not quite right. He sat down and just smiled. After a few awkward seconds he asked, “What did you do?”
I looked at him a little puzzled not knowing whether to be happy, sad, anxious, or jubilant. I said, “What do you mean??
He said, “Where did you hide them? The three kidney stones that you had are all gone. There are not even any traces of the stones left in your kidneys.”

I told him, “I am going to a school of supernatural ministry in northern California and that we see miracles happen all of the time. I told him about the blind man who could see after he was baptized, the legs that I saw grow out on my first day at school, and that there were many miracles of blindness and deafness on a weekly occurrence.” He just smiled, and his secretary was beaming with joy. I continued, “I know that God can do much more than I can even imagine; and I can wrap my mind around my body reabsorbing all that was deposited in my kidneys. So I knew that God could heal me, I just never would have guessed that He would actually make my kidney stones dissolve without me having to pass them.”
Both the doctor and the secretary were still stunned. I asked the doctor, “Can I see the CT scans for myself and take pictures of the before and after as a testimony?” He said sure and led me into the back where the computers were. I took pictures of the before and after pictures of my kidneys to show in black and white that God still heals today!

Gabriel Grimes sent us this testimony:

I have been listening to Bill Johnson for the last 6 years, ever since my wife in a search for a church in the Washington, DC, area found this site on-line. One of the amazing podcasts I heard was the one posted from an Easter service, that I have named “I want my knife back.”*

I have several testimonies of this happening to me and my family.

My father lost a pair of expensive sunglasses in his office, and a week later after asking for his sunglasses back, he found them sitting on top of several books he had just loaded into his car for a course he was going to teach.

I had lost my Montblanc pen with my name engraved on it when we moved to Lima, Peru, in June, 2009. I kept the case and had it in my drawer, using it on occasion as a place to keep special things. In December 2010, I was looking for a place to hide some money for a later purchase. When I opened up the case, I found the pen resting in the box just as if it had never left.

After a Bible study where I recounted the testimonies of the podcast and my own experiences, my friend Nick Balcombe went home and parked his car in the garage under his apartment. The next day he received a call from the watchman telling him that he had seen a window open in his car and it would be good to check it out. When Nick checked the car he found that the removable faceplate to his radio was missing. He checked the car inside and out and couldn’t find the chrome faceplate. Thinking that his wife may have taken it upstairs, he went back to the apartment and asked if she had put it in her purse. She had not, and he returned for the last time before filing a police report for his missing radio faceplate. But as he approached the car he saw a chrome glitter from the dashboard. When he got to the car he confirmed that the glint he saw was indeed the faceplate back in place as it was supposed to be.

Today, something similar happened. As we were getting ready for church my wife informed me that the pair of earrings I had purchased for her last week was missing one of the earrings. It appeared that it might have been lost by our maid when she had cleaned our room and moved the earrings from the bathroom to the dressing room. We bemoaned the loss but continued to get ready for church. At church, we lost ourselves in the praise and worship and when we sat back down, the man behind me tapped my shoulder and opened his hand asking me if “this” was mine. In his outstretched hand was the missing earring.

I went with my daughter to the grocery store. I’m not deliberately trying to influence her in the direction of healing. It just sorta….happens.

Leaving the store, I noticed a middle-aged woman limping toward the parking lot.

I almost heard the Holy Spirit say, ” Go get her.”

I approached, gave her my best smile and asked why she was limping.

She shot me a grin and asked why it was any of my business.

I presented my credentials:

I’m a paramedic. I work in Tacoma. I’m not crazy and I’m not a stalker. I just like to see people blessed by the healing power of God. You can ask my lovely daughter….honest, lady!

We talked for about ten minutes. She asked every question under the sun. I gave every decent answer I could think of. She grilled my daughter again about me.

I said, “look, why don’t we walk to your car and talk about it on the way. (We were creating a scene in the entrance to the store)

She limped pathetically toward her car. She let me push the shopping cart.

As she walked I could see it was her knee. She couldn’t bend it. I asked what was wrong. She had a torn meniscus in her left knee and needed surgery which she couldn’t afford. She was terrified about what would happen if she couldn’t work because of the injury.

I said, “May I please try to get your knee healed? What will it hurt if I just try?”

She reluctantly agreed.

I placed my hand on her knee and commanded the pain to leave in the name of Jesus. I commanded the spirit of pain to leave and never come back.

I asked how she felt. She said it was a little better. I commanded it to be healed one more time and asked how it felt. All the pain was gone.

She looked at me and said, “Are you for real?”

I said, “Jesus is more real than you know and he’s the one who healed you. He loves you and he has a great plan for your future.” I asked if she had any other conditions I could pray for. She let me pray for back pain and high blood pressure. I gave her a card to the website and we talked for a while about the goodness of God. She gave me a hug and we left her with with a huge smile on her face.

My daughter was grinning from ear to ear as we walked to the car. I love showing her how our Father loves His kids.

Jesus is the reason for the season. Have a wonderful Christmas. /Mobile Intensive Prayer Unit
